| Well..the website is back up..I had to move the server to another location and it will be a temporary move until the new place is available. (see info below). Well, its official. I am currently in escrow. After a rather suprisingly unstressful weekend moving, I am all packed into my parents garage and moved up to their place for the month waiting for escrow to close. The Condo --------- I am buying a place in Chino just south of the 60 and Central. I am really excited as the place is immaculate and has "been extremely upgraded" (or so the brochure says). The lady that owns it currently is a lady that works for mom currently. A rather nit picky person who always seems to want things just perfect. When looking for a place it never hurts for the current occupant to be a bit of a clean freak. (grin) The Condo is in a really nice complex and the seller is currently the HOA president. They have won several awards for the complex (though I can't name the specific award). The complex has 64 units (about half of which are single bedroom units). The unit I got is actaully one of only two single story units in the complex. (meaning there is no upstairs neighbor). I have common walls on two sides cause its a corner unit as well. but the common walls are shared with the bathroom and closet on most of one wall. SO, no worries about hearing the neighbors. The unit is a single bedroom and bath, total of 670sqft (though there seems to be some descrepancy on the size of the unit with the county assessors office..more to come on that). It was built in 1985. For now, thats all I know. I am waiting to get all the paperwork from teh escrow office taken care of and get all the income paperwork faxed over to the finance company. Whew..who knew two weeks ago that I'd be buying a new place?! I am really excited about it and can't wait to move in. This is going to put me two years ahead of my current financial schedule that I had for myself. This is a VERY good thing. H&Ks to everyone | |
