| Well, lots has happened in the last month or so since the last time I wrote. The condo is still very much a go, as of right now, we are waiting on the lender to finish up the paperwork on the loan and send it back for final signing and such. If everything goes to plan, everything should be done around Nov 4th. So, I am looking forward to having my own place again. Mom and Dad have been nice enough to let me stay at their place and I very much appreciate their generosity with helping with the house. I am going to try to go over and take some pictures , but probabl ynot till the seller is all moved out. The boy situation has been bleak. I have begun talking to a very cool guy, but he isn't looking for a relationship as he just got out of one himself. We are supposed to have dinner this weekend and I'll update more when I actaully meet him face to face. Its been a VERY long time since i have stayed on the phone for 4 hours just talking about everything and nothing at all. If nothing else, he'd be a very kick ass friend. Work is still blah. Its been pretty quiet over all and I am getting restless. I have been assigned some web-based projects and they aren't really my cup of tea. My boss does such a better job, that it really outshines even my best work. Quite frankly, he is substanccially better at programming than I am. Its never been my strong suite, so I am glad to help out. He usually ends up finishing what I start anyways. Les and Rob's house is really coming along. It has drywall now and looks like a house. They are supposed to move in Nov 14th, but they are thinking its going to be closer to Dec 15th. We shall see, as soon as I know more I'll update you. I found some pictures that I hadn't put online in the picture gallery so I added them up there. They are the pictures from the trip to Utah for my cousin's wedding and my brother Brian's B-day from last year. I stumbled on the pictures and am very happy that I was able to add them to the list. Someday I will actually go and write a thumbnail page for the gallery. Until then, you're just going to have to flip though them all. =P So, just deal with it already. I went to Knott's Scary farm with Adam and some of his friends. A great time was had by all and the pictures from the evening have been added to the gallery as well. My cousin Terry in Colorado sent some family pictures of Grandma and Grandpa Wood. I've posted them up there as well. They take a long time to view cause the original format is BMP. But I really appreciate Terry thinking of me in sending the pictures and letters and such. Was awfully thoughful of him. Oh yeah...two cool things....We finally got my parents a decent cordless phone AND answering machine for my dads b-day. I think my parents were the only ones without an answering machine on the planet. AND, since I was here, and with Paul's help, we finally got a cable modem installed at my parents house. They are very happy campers now. Ahhh..I love the speed of broadband in the morning... oh yeah....Thom said the funniest thing last night...."Baby, you light up my firewire!"...we were thinking about putting it on a T-Shirt.. hehehe I crack me up! Well, wish my luck at dinner and with the house... I am off to save the world from....well...um...I dunno...Go away and get a life already! m | |
