I got more than a few emails about our status with the fires and stuff…So, I figured I’d write and let everyone know what’s up.  So far so good, looks like just about everyone I know survived. I am waiting to hear back from Lizz at Litho to find out about JR’s house in Arrowhead, it looks as though they probably lost it.  Everyone else seems to have made it though it.

Condo:
Condo appraised at 122k.  WOO HOO. Just in limbo waiting for it to close.  This is taking forever, but kinda good as I haven’t started packing just yet.  Good thing is that I don’t have that much to move, but bad part is that I haven’t found a new place yet.

Truck:
I went out to Joshua Tree last weekend and managed to incur some trail carnage.  Like a dumbass, I jumped out of the truck in one spot on the trail and managed to hit not one but two parked trucks because I was in 4Lo and pulled the parking break but forgot to put it in park.  Good part is that there was no damage to the other two trucks, but it smashed up my front signal might and dented the bumper pretty good.  Tweaked the mounts for the bumper too, have to pull them off this weekend and put them back into shape.  Damage is mostly superficial, but annoying as it was all my fault.  The other damage I did was minimal, but its noticeable if you take a close look at the slider on the driver side.  I came off a rock too fast and hit the slider hard enough to flex it enough to bang into the joint for the spot welds on the truck.  Good thing the sliders were there or I am sure I would have done some nasty damage.  (Totally worth the $400).  So, I am looking at getting a new lens from the ttora board or the dealer wants $68.07 for a new one.  Not too bad all in all.  But the bumper is going to be A LOT more and I would rather get the WARN or ARB bumper.  $700+$130 for shipping.. UGH.. Gotta make one myself or something..

Boobers:
Damn cat was out side and managed to get her ear infected really bad.  They had to put her out in the midnight clinic and operate.  I picked her up at 4:30 AM and she had a drain in her ear for a few days.  She is good as new and seems to be back to normal now.  Damages were almost $500 by the time I was done.

Halloween:
Looks like I got coursed into dressing as Dorothy for Halloween with the boys.  They are dressing up at the tinman, scarecrow, and lion. Should be interesting to say the least.  Will be the first and only time I’ve ever dressed as a girl.  Getting a little nervous as the date is coming up and I still don’t have my costume.  Hopefully it will get here soon.  I still have to find the wig and shoes to go with it.

Well, I think that’s it for the moment.  Still kinda regretting not going to my HS reunion, but it couldn’t be avoided.

Ok…enough for now…
