| Wow! Its been a while since I’ve updated my online diary. I still refuse to call it a “blog”. Whatever the hell that means! Ok. So the last two weekends I finally managed to talk Chris into coming over and helping me work on the suspension on my Tacoma. I am way happy with what we’ve done. We spent a whole day last weekend installing the 2” body lift. Roger Brown puts together an interesting assortment of parts in the same box so you can do it yourself. Not bad for $181 shipped. I couldn’t be happier with the results. As for this weekend, I ditched work on Friday to finally do the front Tokico coilover swap (They are the stock front coil-overs and I swapped mine that have 85k miles on them with the 15k mile ones from Chris’ truck). Mikey was VERY generous and donated the deaver 7 leaf packs to my Tacoma when he traded in his PreRunner for an 05 X-Runner. Chris took them down and had Deaver rebuild them for me and add another leaf. So now I have about 500 extra pounds of weight carrying capacity and about and 1.5” lift extra in the back. Very cool! Short of the slight frontwards driver side lean, the suspension swap was/is way awesome. I need to drive it about 1000 miles before the suspension really settles down. (That should take me about two weeks with the amount I am currently driving) I did manage to get some wheeling in after a long break. Myself and about 14 other trucks showed up in Big Bear for a snow run. We all had a great time and even managed to get booted from Carl’s Jr. Apparently, they don’t like it when you bring beer in with you. ;) (one guilty party Party in my pants.) But everyone had a good time and I only got stuck in the snow once. God I hate the snow. A good time was had by all! Thanks to Jesse, Dan and all the others who helped make it possible. Getting ready to turn 30…sheesh.. Time flies….Remind me again when I was having fun?! PB&J and I are planning on celebrating together out with the fellas. Not sure of the details yet, but I have no doubt it will be fun. I am planning on NOT driving. I think this will be the first time I am opting out. Whee.. More to come with all of that. If the link doesn’t work, simply search for Daniel Valenti and look for the picture of the goat… Yes, it’s a goat. Home is great. Jordan is getting really big. Holy crap babies grow fast. It won’t be long before she is walking. She already is getting pretty good at walking with someone holding her hands. She might just end up skipping the crawling stage. She has a new friend Arwin to play with so that I am sure will help. Arwin is a few months older and is already walking in full gear. Arwin’s mom Elizabeth is going to begin babysitting here at the house starting next week. Hopefully the stress level from baby craziness will go down a bit. Mom and Dad are doing great with their new found empty nest. Mom suggested calling before stopping over unannounced. I fear parental nakedness might be going on in that house when we are not there. I think its better that I just block it out of my mind. My personal life seems to be on hiatus at the moment. I seem to be getting a lot of interested parties write be back online. But I haven’t had anyone really seem to be more interested then just being friends for the night, if you know what I mean. I guess that just isn’t me. I dunno why, but I seem to feel like such an outsider most of the time. Seems like I am missing out on the fun stuff because I am such a stick in the mud about not sleeping with just anyone. I think I loose points with some people cause of that. But then again, WTF do I care? Oh, in other news, I am officially official to travel. I finally got my passport! Wheee.. This puts me one step closer to officially going. (After I do this diary entry, I have to work on the Australia page) I just want to send “Street cred” props out to the following people for help keeping me sane and in “check” (in no particular order): Drew, Paul, Adam, Mr T, Alex, Robin, Chris, Cathy, Leslie, Rob, Jordan, Mom, Dad, Daniel, Brian, Davon, JP, my Minions at work (Lakshmi, Tyler, James and Maheeja), Michelle, Lynn, Pat L, Matt, Jeff, Khris, PB&J and the countless others that put up with me on a daily basis.. Thank you all. Also, Les and Rob have been working their butts off getting the enormous amount of pictures online that we have.
