2002 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab Shifting out of park without the key:

These instructions are for use at your own risk. I wrote these instrutions for referance only! These instructions should work for the regular cab and extended cab 01-03 tacomas as well if the dash looks similar.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, use your common sense and use these instructions at your own risk. I'm not to be held liable if your dumb ass screws something up cause you should have had a professional do it to geting with. Pay close attention when shifting out of park when working on the truck! You don't want your precious bumping into something else inadvertantly!

	Whats this? A little funy clip thingy next to the automatic tranny shifter.
	TO shift out of park without the key, simply pry off the cover push the plastic tab down and forward and it should allow you to now shift from park. BE VERY CAREFUL! In my haste to finish before dark I had forgotten to put the truck in park before I did this. Be sure to pull the parking break and block the tires so the truck doesn't roll.
